24/07/08 18:38
Today I found a number of great free
"automator " scripts on the Apple website. They are great
for efficiency. Batch photo resizers, simple
photo editors, desktop locking actions, and so
much more. I highly recomendend them. To find
them go to
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/automator/ .
Also I would like to list a few of my favorite sites for finding freeware and regular software that aren't already listed in my "Great Apps" page.
#1 http://www.download.com.
#2 http://www.apple.com/downloads/
#3 http://mac.majorgeeks.com/
#4 http://www.macupdate.com/
I hope you enjoy these links,
I will ad more as I think of them,
Have Fun,
Duncan

How to change the language in Microsoft Word
17/07/08 23:15
This tip and information can be found in the help
menu of Microsoft Word.....A few of my colleagues had
approached me with this problem. So here it is.
How to change the language in Microsoft Word...
Check the language of the text in your document. Microsoft Office 2004 includes AutoCorrect lists for the following languages: English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish. If the text in your document is set to a different language, Office 2004 creates either a blank AutoCorrect list for that language or uses the English AutoCorrect list to correct errors as you type. To set the language of text in your document, on the Tools menu, click Language and then click the language you want.
This is from the help menu.
You can't change the language permanently because it's defaultly set to English,
but you can change individual documents by just going to the "Tools" Menu,
then language and choose the language you want.
I hope this helped someone,
Please feel free to contact me through the contact page if you have any other questions,
Sincerely,
Duncan Ebata
